Today is my Gramma's 71st birthday! She is a very special lady who is always there for an ear to listen, but you also have to be willing to listen to her advice, too, whether you want it or not! She's full of life and zest and attitude, and that's just how we love her. She's a fantastic mother to her kids, grandmother to us grandkids and great-grandmother to my kids!

And for her birthday present? Cataract surgery. Fun, huh? But I just heard from my mom that everything went well and she's home and taking a bit of a nap. If I know Gramma, she'll be back out dancing and whooping it up in no time.
